この車番を含むシリーズ10900-11374は、1948年にGNの自社工場で製造された。すなわちGN名物の12パネル車であって、このモデルの様な10パネルではない。またビッグスカイ・ブルー塗装は、1967年に開始された。よって、この塗色のボックスカーは屋根上歩み板が撤去されているはず。こういうことは気にしないのが健全。

The series 10900-11374, contained this number, was built in 1948 by GN shops. So, those had 12-panel sides, not 10-panel of this model. In 1967, the railway began to paint thier rolling stocks and locomotives in Big Sky blue. So really, the box cars were not equipped with a roof walk. Don't mind!

GNが1948年に製造した40フィート車は、側引戸の違いで2種に分別され、475両（10900-11374）がコルゲート模様のヤングスタウン、500両（11375-11874）が格子模様のスペーリアだった。ただし、後年は修繕などによって混合しているので、このモデルも間違いではない。プロトタイプについての話題がMRフォーラムにある。 　ロゴに描かれた山羊はロッキーマウンテン・ゴートで、「ロッキー」と愛称される。このアゴヒゲを生やした姿は1921年に登場し、GN最終期のビッグ・スカイ・ブルー・スキーム（GN 11374）まで49年間にわたって用いられた。次の画像はScott R. Thompson著"Great Northern Equipment Color Pictorial Book 1"から引用。 　注目してほしい点は、彼の顔がいつも左面を見せていること。アサーンが1994年に売り出した車番GN 11585はこれが右面となったエラーだという。

In 1948, GN built 2 series of 40' boxcars. The defference is door style. Series 10900-11374 equipped with the Camel-Youngstown, 11375-11874 the Superior. However, in later years those were mixed in maintenance. So, this model is no misstake. There is a topic on the MR Forum about the prototype of this model. The Rocky Mountain Goat in the logo, love referred to as the "Rocky". The figure bearded appeared in 1921, By GN final stage of the Big Sky Blue scheme (GN 11374 ), he has been used in 49 years. The following image is taken from Scott R. Thompson "Great Northern Equipment Color Pictorial Book 1". Notice the point is that he is showing the left face always. Athearn car number GN 11585 sold in 1994, is the right face, also error(Standard Guide to Athearn Model Trains).
